To help you get the most out of your timepiece, we've compiled this easy-to-follow guide. Whether you're a seasoned collector or new to the world of automatic watches, this manual will ensure your watch keeps ticking beautifully.

Understanding your Automatic Watch

Automatic mechanical watches are powered by the movement of your wrist. As you wear your watch, a rotor within the movement winds the mainspring, transferring energy to power the watch. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop and require manual winding.

Operating the Movement

Winding Your Watch: If your watch has stopped or you're wearing it for the first time, you may need to wind it manually. Turn the crown clockwise 20-30 times to give it a full wind. This provides the watch with a good power reserve to keep time accurately.

Setting the Time

For Watches with a Screw-Down Crown: Firstly, gently unscrew the crown counter-clockwise until it pops out to the first position.

For Watches without a Screw-Down Crown: Gently pull the crown out to the first position.
Pull the crown out to the second position to set the time. Turn the crown to move the hands to the desired time. Always set the time in a clockwise direction to prevent wear on the movement.
Once the time is set, push the crown back in and, if applicable, screw it down clockwise to ensure water resistance.

To adjust the time or date:

Hold the watch securely.

Gently rotate the crown counter-clockwise until it pops out slightly.
Do not force the crown; if it does not move easily, ensure you're turning it the correct way.

Setting the Date

Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on your model) to adjust the date.

Important: Do not set the date between 9 PM and 3 AM. This period is when the date mechanism is engaged to change the date automatically. Adjusting the date during these hours can damage the movement.
